Having a laboratory bench to characterize fans for different applications and of different types, evaluate efficiency and distinguish between fluid dynamic efficiency and motor efficiency, and be able to carry out temperature tests on the windings under working conditions similar to real use

Solution

A performance test bench was built in accordance with ISO 5801. An external drive allows the fluid dynamic efficiency of fans or systems to be characterized.

A simulation software has been developed that, by taking as input the torque produced by alternative (or simulated) engines, allows the performance prediction of virtual prototypes; Tests can be run automatically or manually .
