Characteristics
Roof drain assembly system capable of forcing cylindrical plastic components into place. The pneumatic actuation is activated manually by the operator, ensuring complete safety. The equipment weighs less than 20 kg, making it easy to move from the workbench.
Customer Needs
Install roof vents on plastic pipes and boiler flue pipes in complete safety and ergonomics for line operators. A force of approximately 100 kg is required, but this can reach up to 160 kg. The pipe must also be able to rotate to tighten the safety screw. The system must be adjustable for different pipe lengths and installation recipes, and it must be connectable to the factory information system.
Solution
Assembly equipment was created as described, with the possibility of interfacing via PLC to the factory information system and capable of changing assembly recipes (e.g. changing thrust force, thrust speed, possibility of inserting or not inserting the safety screw).
