Customer Needs

The client, a laboratory for a major certification body, requires a mobile test bench capable of supporting cars and a three-wheeler during EMC testing, applying 6 kW of power (at 50 km/h) to the rollers, simulating a straight path on all four (or three) wheels. After the test, the device must be easily movable outside the anechoic chamber. The maximum weight of the cars being tested is 2,850 kg. The maximum weight of the device must be 2,000 kg. The test bench must be shaped so that sports cars can easily mount it without touching the structure. Only optical sensors for speed measurement are permitted.
