Customer Needs
Add equipment to the production line capable of performing various tests to verify more than 120 different codes for geometry, motor type, and auger fixing brackets.
Solution
A dual-station bench was created, each consisting of a multifunctional module that performs electrical safety, performance, vibration, and permissible loss tests. In accordance with lean production principles, unnecessary product movement and storage is avoided, as the functionality of three different pieces of equipment is combined into one.
The management of the large number and variability of codes was resolved by studying the “common” geometries that characterize the fans to be tested and by equipping the stations with templates that can be equipped with quick-release couplings. System I4.0
